Projects
A few of the projects Three Planets Software and its members have tackled appear below to give a better understanding of their breadth of their experience.
Application Development
Asylum is a project designed to help teach Computability by providing a flowchart interface for a very small, Turing complete language (1#). The bulk of the code came within the first week, yielding a functional Java application which was then used by the students in the Computability class for the rest of the semester. In fact, Asylum is one part of a large site put together to facilitate learning and using 1#.
Computer Building
All of Three Planet Software’s computers are custom built for the best performance at the cheapest cost.
Security
Jonathan Baumann worked with the Indiana University Phishing Team for two years, in fields ranging from phishing to bluetooth security. These skills come in handy for security audits, as well as giving applications developed by Three Planets Software a better security footing from the start.
Web Development
WMAcoustic is a project designed to solve the data parsing needs for a research project that dealt with lots of time samples of audio files. The end product allowed the researcher to upload zip files and get an Excel spreadsheet in return that plotted all the data.
